Nixon Peabody Boston Attorney Elected to State Bar Association BoardBoston, MA. International law firm Nixon Peabody LLP today announces that Jennifer Collins, an associate in the firm’s Boston office, has been elected to the Board of the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association (MLGBA). The two-year position is effective immediately. MLGBA is a statewide professional association of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender lawyers and allies providing a visible LGBT presence within the Massachusetts legal community. 7/27/2009 Ms. Collins is a member of the firm’s Private Clients Group and focuses her practice on advising individuals in sophisticated estate planning and administration matters. She also counsels nonprofit organizations with respect to structuring, obtaining tax-exempt status, and ongoing legal matters. Ms. Collins is a graduate of Hamilton College, B.A., magna cum laude, and earned her J.D. at Northeastern University School of Law. |
